No two days are ever the same, and you’ll enjoy a varied caseload that keeps your skills sharp and your workday engaging. Whether you’re running nurse consults, assisting in theatre, or delivering top‑quality inpatient care, you’ll be doing what you do best with the full support of a team that truly values your expertise.

You won’t be alone on your journey. You'll work alongside a large, established clinical team consisting of 14 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses—including 4 student nurses—and a strong network of Veterinary Care Assistants, a dedicated pharmacy dispenser, and an exceptional front desk and admin team. Two of the vets are currently pursuing certificates, and all nurses are encouraged to grow their skill sets, share knowledge, and support one another in continuous development.

The practice takes pride in delivering high‑quality, first opinion care to a wide range of patients, including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and even exotic species. With access to a CT scanner at a nearby referral centre, you’ll also have the opportunity to work with more advanced diagnostic tools when needed.

But it’s not just about the work—it’s about the people. The practice has built a genuine, friendly culture grounded in teamwork, respect, and a shared love for animals. Regular team events, fun fundraising activities, and staff outings foster a strong sense of community. From a 24‑hour kennel stay to conquering the world’s largest inflatable obstacle course, they’ve raised over £12,000 for local causes and had a great time doing it.
