About The PracticeAn exciting opportunity for an Experienced Equine vet to join an enthusiastic, friendly, forward‑thinking and established team in the Highlands of Scotland. The practice is superbly located on the doorstep of an outdoor enthusiast’s playground close to both mountains and sea, giving easy access to skiing, mountain biking, mountaineering, climbing and water‑sports. We are an ambulatory and clinic‑based practice close to Inverness (has an airport and good transport hub), with inpatient facilities including stables, stocks, large treatment area, knockdown/recovery room, trot up and arena facilities.
The practice is also fully equipped with DR‑X ray, ultrasound, endoscopes, gastroscope, motorised dental equipment and shockwave. We also have frequent clinic days with regular visiting specialists.
The Role
You would be joining a dedicated team committed to clinical excellence on a 1 in 5 shared OOH rota. The position comes with a competitive salary and a relocation package. ApplicantRequirements
• RCVS registered with equine experience and proven capabilities in lameness work‑ups, pre‑purchase examinations, routine minor surgical procedures and castrations.
• Experience training and mentoring other team members.
• Open to a leadership role or development of skills; part‑time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
