Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for our Engineering FMCG client based in Inverness-shire. This is a permanent position with salary up to circa £50,000 depending on experience, plus benefits

• Develop and maintain a Preventive Maintenance Schedule and technical troubleshooting
• Pro-active maintenance, including predictive and conditioned based tools
• Measurement of performance with feedback to team/individuals
• Development of basic care of machinery for operators and Root cause failure analysis
• Ensure maintenance logs are used consistently and effectively, conduct regular safety meetings, liaising with team members to thorough planning of all work
• Assist with development and management of the team resource planning
• Develop safe systems of work for maintenance tasks

• Engineering apprenticeship or Mechanical Engineering qualification
• Supervisory experience, able to carry out performance feedback. Deliver Team talks etc ; good communication skills
• Experience of maintenance in a production/manufacturing/industrial environment
• Able to demonstrate safety awareness and be aware of environmental/H&S standards
