Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Position: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor (Permanent)
FINTEC recruit is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for our Engineering FMCG client based in Inverness-shire. This is a permanent position with salary up to circa £50,000 depending on experience, plus benefits

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a Preventive Maintenance Schedule and technical troubleshooting

Pro-active maintenance, including predictive and conditioned based tools

Measurement of performance with feedback to team/individuals

Development of basic care of machinery for operators and Root cause failure analysis

Ensure maintenance logs are used consistently and effectively, conduct regular safety meetings, liaising with team members to thorough planning of all work

Assist with development and management of the team resource planning

Develop safe systems of work for maintenance tasks

Skills and experience required for the Maintenance Supervisor role

Engineering apprenticeship or Mechanical Engineering qualification

Supervisory experience, able to carry out performance feedback. Deliver Team talks etc ; good communication skills

Experience of maintenance in a production/manufacturing/industrial environment

Able to demonstrate safety awareness and be aware of environmental/H&S standards
