Mechanical Fitter

Breedon Group is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter to join its operations and maintenance team at Daviot Quarry and Asphalt Plant near Inverness.
This role suits someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys hands on work in a busy industrial environment.

• You will carry out maintenance and repair work on quarry plant and machinery.
• You will complete daily inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
• You will support the safe and efficient operation of the site.
• You will work closely with colleagues as part of a small, close knit maintenance team.
• You may be required to support maintenance work at other sites within the region.
• You will follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

This is a full time, permanent role based onsite.

Occasional night and weekend working may be required.

• You will have a mechanical background with experience in a Mechanical Fitter role.
• You will be proactive, reliable, and practical in your approach to work.
• You will have good communication and problem solving skills.
• You will be flexible and willing to adapt to operational requirements.
• You will hold a valid UK driving licence.
