Embroidery Machinist

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Embroidery Machinist to join our creative and hands‑on Branding & Embroidery Team at Mac Gregor Industrial Supplies in Inverness.

This team brings customer ideas to life — from personalised workwear and uniforms to bespoke corporate branding, embroidery, and heat‑seal designs. Their attention to detail helps businesses across the Highlands & Islands and Aberdeenshire present themselves professionally and consistently.

• Customising garments and workwear Operate embroidery and heat press machinery to apply logos and designs to a wide range of garments including T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, uniforms, and workwear. Full training will be provided.
• Preparing and setting up designs Use Corel
  
  DRAW and vector-based artwork to prepare branding designs, including sizing, positioning, mirroring, and layout adjustments to suit different garments and finishes.
• Checking orders and paperwork Review job sheets and pick slips carefully to ensure garments, sizes, colours, and branding instructions are correct before production begins.
• Managing production and quality Work to fast‑paced production schedules while maintaining excellent quality and consistency across all orders.
• Working as part of a wider team Collaborate closely with colleagues in Branding & Embroidery, as well as Internal Sales and Warehouse teams, supporting other tasks when required especially during busy periods.
