£111,430 - £148,064 per annum pro rata

Permanent Older Adult Psychiatry Consultant – East Sector, NHS Highland – 1.0 WTE

We are looking for a consultant to deliver older adult mental health services across the Highlands. The post holder will provide consultant input to the community team covering Mid Ross (Dingwall, Strathpeffer) and Easter Ross (Alness, Invergordon, Tain) for both primary and organic mental disorders.

• Provide consultant input to community teams in Mid Ross and Easter Ross.
• Support inpatient care at New Craigs Hospital site and participate in the consultant on‑call rota (1:15).
• Develop and deliver a flexible job plan, with opportunities for special interests in community, inpatient, liaison or young onset dementia services.
• Maintain an 8:2 split between direct clinical care and SPA sessions.
• Participate in CPD, peer supervision and regular educational events as part of the in‑house programme.
