Position: Staff Midwife

Salary

Band 6: £41,608 - £50,702 (pro rata) per annum

Band 5: £33,247 - £41,424 (pro rata) per annum

Working arrangements

Full and part-time hours will be considered, permanent and fixed term contracts until November 2026 available.

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care.
  • You will also have an educational responsibility to members of staff, patients and relatives.
Qualifications
  • Applications will be considered from qualified/newly qualified midwives or those who are due to qualify in the coming months.
Additional information for candidates
  • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
