An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Cancer Services Team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator
.
In this key role, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings for cancer and suspected cancer patients. You will ensure that meetings are well‑organised, relevant documentation is available to support clinical decision‑making, and that outcomes are accurately recorded. A crucial part of the role is to ensure patients progress through their cancer pathway in a timely and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities include:- Organising and facilitating MDT meetings
- Ensuring all necessary clinical information is available for discussion
- Recording decisions and outcomes from MDT meetings
- Coordinating patient pathways to support timely diagnosis and treatment
We are looking for a self‑motivated individual with:
- A good standard of education
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Experience working in a busy, fast‑paced environment as part of a team

Additional Information for Candidates- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rated basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
