The hours of this post are Tuesday to Friday .

Responsibilities
  • Based mainly in the prep meal kitchen, manage a high volume of patients.
  • Maintain high quality and service standards.
  • Work within a team of catering staff with a ‘can do attitude’.
  • Ensure patients receive prompt, efficient service, quality food and products with a friendly attitude.
  • Report to the Facilities Supervisors for the National Treatment Centre.
  • Ensure all cleaning standards, procedures and processes are followed.
  • May be asked to work in the Raigmore Hospital site when required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven track record of working in a similar establishment with a team of catering staff.
  • Good interpersonal skills and first-class patient service skills.
  • Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate desirable, but full training will be given and you must sit the Food Hygiene Certificate within 3 months of starting if you don't already have it.
  • Must achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
