We are currently seeking to recruit a part‑time Finance Assistant on a permanent basis for our busy Financial Services team at Assynt House, Inverness.
The role is to support Financial Services Officers, Supervisor and Team Leaders by undertaking a variety of tasks within Financial Services. The post‑holder will work in one of the following areas:
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Patient Travel and Finance Support, and will be required to move between functions periodically.
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good communication skills (both written and oral)
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience of working in an office environment
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; ability to carry out finance tasks using accounting software
- Ability to learn new systems
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Effective communication with all levels of staff

Additional Information For Candidates- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
