The roleYou will be a key member of the Vegetation Management department within our Operations and Maintenance team. You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of resilience surveying as part of our ETR
132 resilience tree cutting programme
- Good understanding and knowledge of the Transmission and Distribution networks
- Experience in both utility arboricultural and forestry industries with sound knowledge of relevant legislation
- Hold the NPTC UA5 Utility Arboricultural Surveyor – Practises and Principles qualifications
- Good knowledge of statutory safety clearances as per Electricity Safety, Quality and Continuity Regulations and of the requirements of the Energy Networks Association Engineering Technical Report 132 document
- Previous experience in working with, supervising or managing contractors
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work as a team as well as on your own
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills are important with ability to influence others at all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to produce clear and concise documents to a high standard
- Have good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office packages
It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence, as there will be a requirement for travel and work away from home, often overnight for short periods of time.
