We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Site Manager and or Foreman/Woman to take operational leadership of live project sites.

This is a senior, hands-on position suited to someone who performs best in a site-based environment and is confident leading delivery from the front. You will oversee day-to-day operations, maintain programme performance, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are upheld across the site.

This role is not office based. It is a visible leadership position for someone who takes ownership on site and leads by example.

As Foreman Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Taking ownership of day-to-day site delivery
• Leading and coordinating site teams and subcontractors
• Managing programme, sequencing, and productivity on site
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with specifications
• Maintaining engineering accuracy and technical standards
• Identifying and resolving site issues efficiently
• Escalating commercial or operational risks where required

You will play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly while maintaining strong operational control.

We are seeking an experienced infrastructure professional who is comfortable acting as the senior operational presence on site.

These are desirable however some training would be available.

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience within infrastructure or heavy civil engineering
• Proven experience managing live construction sites
• Strong background in civil engineering works
• Experience working to Tier 1 contractor standards (or similar)
• Competent using Trimble or similar setting-out equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Understanding of CDM Regulations and HSEQ requirements
• Experience managing RAMS, permits and safe systems of work
• Full UK driving licence
