This is a fixed term post until March 2027.

Are you an organised and proactive administrator with a passion for supporting children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences? The Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service (NDAS) is seeking a dedicated Admin and Systems Manager to join our multidisciplinary team based in The Pines, Inverness, with outreach across the Highland Council area, on a fixed term/secondment basis (secondments are considered with permission from current manager).

Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the NDAS team, supporting professionals who assess and assist children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences and disabilities.
  • Oversee and manage the NDAS database, MS Teams sites, SharePoint, and related digital systems, ensuring efficient operation and data security.
  • Produce and distribute clinical management information, reports, and data extracts to relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise effectively with project teams, internal and external multidisciplinary colleagues, and wider networks.
  • Deliver a highly professional, comprehensive, and efficient administrative and clerical service across all NDAS clinics.
  • Line manage and coordinate the NDAS administrative service, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Organise multidisciplinary meetings, patient groups, study days, and educational events both locally and nationally, including venue booking, resource arrangement, and catering coordination.
  • Support the NDAS Clinical Lead/Director and wider team with training course arrangements, including handling bookings, programmes, and financial processes, as well as providing on-the-day admin support.
About You
  • Experience in a similar administrative or systems management role, ideally within healthcare or children’s services.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills, including proficiency with databases and MS Teams/SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work autonomously as well as part of a team.

  • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
