Job DescriptionThe VP of Quality and Patient Safety is responsible for developing and executing organizational quality and performance improvement. This position is also responsible for leadership and organizational wide direction in ensuring a continuously improving culture of safety.
QualificationsEducation & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing;
Post Graduate Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field required or in process - Minimum 5 years of experience. Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations. Previous experience in the clinical, risk management, and/or administrative arenas preferred.
- Must have at least 5+ years of Dir level experience
- CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) OR CHCQM (Diplomate in American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians).
