Roll-Off Driver; CDL B

Position Summary

A Driver‑CDL (B) operates a collection truck, ensuring safe operation, vehicle compliance, and daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs).

• Pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspection per company policy.
• Operate truck along designated route, servicing customers per route sheet.
• Load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose collected material at facility.
• Interact courteously with all customers, dispatchers, and others.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them per departmental procedures.
• Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste.
• Clean area around accidental waste spill, adhering to safety standards.
• Monitor vehicle condition to ensure operational readiness; clean waste from packer blade and truck body.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and reports.
• Maintain adherence to required productivity standards to serve customers timely.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

$22.40 to $30.80 per hour, depending on locality.
