Job Title: Warehouse Specialist
Location: Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota
Company: I-State Truck Center
Pay Range: $23.00-$26.00 per hour DOE
Scheduled Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Warehouse Associates play a critical role in our operations by answering phones, interface with customers, reference part numbers, aid customers, and participate in inventory. They also provide support to the service department. This is a critical position in ensuring that the company can locate and secure parts for jobs to be completed in a timely manner. Making sure we can access the parts in an efficient and cost-effective manner ensures we are representing our customer’s best interest.

• Read production schedule, orders (customer, work, shipping, requisition, etc.) to determine items to be removed, gathered, or distributed.
• Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
• Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to workers.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or transports orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information
• Open bales, crates, and other containers
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.

• Experience operating forklifts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with computers and related computer components.
