CHS has an exciting opportunity on our Energy Finance team. We are looking for an Expert Financial Analyst that will play a pivotal role for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities at our corporate headquarters in Inver Grove Heights, MN, as part of our refined fuels product line. This position delivers high-impact insights that drive profitability, efficiency and alignment with enterprise objectives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, with natural curiosity and a desire to learn.

⦁ Lead financial reporting, dashboards, and models to communicate performance, KPIs, and variances vs. plan and forecast.
⦁ Deliver advanced financial analysis and insights to support margin improvement, risk management, and decision‑making.
⦁ Own the QFR (Quarterly Financial Results) process for Refined Fuels and communicate monthly variances through various reporting packages.
⦁ Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to influence outcomes and support strategic initiatives.
⦁ Support the annual budget and forecast processes, coordinating timelines, inputs, and deliverables.
⦁ Lead the financial management and performance oversight of the commercial supporting business P&Ls
⦁ Drive automation and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
⦁ Set priorities and provide clear direction to analysts to drive timely and accurate project outcomes.
⦁ Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Financial Planning and Analysis

⦁ Proficient in MS Office suite
⦁ Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical skills, as well as deep understanding of various financial statements (e.g. income statement and balance sheet)

⦁ Experience with SAP planning and reporting modules preferred
⦁ CPA or MBA preferred
