Target is a retailer focused on guest service, operating multiple formats to ensure products are in stock, priced correctly, and presented effectively. The Small Format Team Member role involves cashiering, stocking, presentation, price accuracy, and delivering exceptional guest service while adapting to varying duties across the store.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to solve their needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Assist with workload to maintain a full, organized sales floor; stock product and complete backroom tasks as needed.
• Assist with truck unload, inventory accuracy, price changes, and signing for all departments.
• Maintain interior and exterior brand, keep restrooms clean, collect carts, manage spills, and ensure safety and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive-up (DU) with adherence to applicable laws.
• Process inbound deliveries and complete daily/weekly audits as required.
• Operate powered equipment if certified and follow equipment guidelines.
• Handle cash register operations as needed and stay flexible with shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, and maintain a compliant work environment.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to climb ladders and move merchandise safely, with lifting up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments; ability to move for the duration of a shift.
