Overview
Our client, a popular eyewear brand, is looking for a TEMPORARY
Assistant Controller to join their team on a hybrid basis in Inglewood, CA!
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Analyze financial trends, cost variances, and provide insights.
- Manage journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
- Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain strong internal control systems and policies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal, and state regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits, acting as a liaison.
- Operations & Management:
- Supervise daily accounting operations, potentially including AP, AR, and payroll.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Oversee accounting software and implement process improvements.
- Strategic Support:
- Provide high-level support to the Controller on financial strategy.
- Bachelor’s in accounting/finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance to Inglewood, CA.
