Hey Tutor Tutoring – Adult School – Los Angeles
Hey Tutor has partnered with a Los Angeles school district to hire English and Math tutors for adult school students. Students are 21 and older, and tutors will work during school hours to catch up on gaps from the past year.
Responsibilities- Lead small groups of adult students without classroom support.
- Prepare and deliver tutoring sessions using curriculum and materials provided by Hey Tutor.
- Take attendance, document progress, and run lessons through the Hey Tutor Dashboard.
- Assist with baseline and summative assessments when requested by a manager.
- Maintain a positive, engaging environment that fosters belonging and positive behavior choices.
- Daily clock in/out of Deputy for shifts.
- Pick up and drop off students at designated school site locations.
- Perform any additional duties requested by the company, manager, or school site.
- AA degree or higher, or current enrollment in college.
- Experience tutoring adult students and working in a classroom setting.
- Proficiency in Adult Math and ELA tutoring.
- Clear FBI and DOJ background check.
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm (school hours).
PayPay is based on education and experience and will be determined at the interview.
