About Noah's ArkNoah’s Ark is a not-for-profit organisation providing Early Childhood Intervention and inclusion support services to children with disabilities and additional needs.
We are seeking applications from individuals who are interested in working as a Kindergarten Inclusion Support (KIS) Additional Assistant in local kindergartens as a member of the KIS program.
About the positionAs a KIS Assistant your role will support the kindergarten’s teaching staff to provide an environment that is responsive to the individual strengths, abilities, and interests of all children, including those with a disability, additional support needs and/or complex medical needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children within the community and having the flexibility of working casual hours.
To be successful, you:
- Develop relationships with children that are supportive and responsive to their individual needs.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understand the need maintain confidentiality and privacy.
- Relate to others with kindness, respect, and positivity.
- Demonstrated experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting would be an advantage.
This is a casual position. The hourly wage is $28.80 per hour plus 25% casual loading.

KIS assistants require a satisfactory pre-employment police check and current employee Working With Children Check. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country or countries will also be required.
