HR & Accounting Manager

About Us

Car Lux is one of the largest independent used car dealerships in Los Angeles, with over 400 vehicles in stock and a fast-growing team.

Human Resources:

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee records.
• Develop and enforce HR policies in compliance with California labor laws.
• Process payroll, track attendance, and manage benefits administration.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations.

Accounting

• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general bookkeeping.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Support management with budgeting, vendor payments, and financial compliance.
• Work closely with ownership on dealership tax filings and audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a dedicated HR position.
• Knowledge of California labor laws and payroll compliance.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Quick Books, Excel, or dealership accounting software preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
