What You’ll Do:
- Inspection & Auditing:
Perform routine and project-based inspections for integrity and compliance. - Code Compliance:
Verify work meets industry standards. - Reporting:
Document inspection findings, non-conformities, and progress. - Coordination:
Work with engineers, construction teams, and management to resolve issues. - Safety Oversight:
Ensure adherence to safety protocols (OSHA, company standards).
Physical Requirements:
- Walk long distances.
- Climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Stand for extended durations.
- Reach in all directions.
- Have good visual acuity regarding color, depth perception, and field vision.
- Work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperatures.
- Be alert and able to determine job-related hazards and recognize when hazards change.
- Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Preference for current certification in Swagelok and Parker tubing fitting installation.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in use and calibration of welding inspection tools.
- Monitor in-process welding applications and verify compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Work and communicate in a team environment.
- Possess fundamental verbal and writing skills in English.
