Logistics Executive

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end import/export operations, ensuring compliance with customs, insurance, and financial documentation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in international logistics, a strong understanding of customs and insurance procedures, and the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors, brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all import/export transactions, ensuring compliance with international trade and customs regulations
Prepare, review, and file import/export documentation including invoices, shipping documents, customs declarations, and insurance policies.
Handle customs clearance processes, duty calculations, and apply correct tariff classifications for all shipments.
Track shipments, liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays.
Arrange insurance coverage for goods in transit and process insurance claims for damaged/lost cargo.
Maintain up-to-date records of shipments and compliance documentation, ensuring adherence to statutory compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Business/ Commerce/ Logistics or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in import/export operations, customs compliance, insurance, or accounting within international trade.
Strong working knowledge of customs rules, international shipping protocols, and insurance procedures.
Good organizational, multitasking, and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills for interfacing with customs officials, insurance companies, vendors, and internal teams.
