Head of Operations

We are seeking  Head Operations  to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for an  automotive seating systems plant . The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence across  seat structure, foam, trim, and final assembly lines , ensuring  high productivity, quality standards, and timely delivery to OEM customers under JIT/JIS environment .

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage  complete plant operations  including production, PPC, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
Oversee  automotive seat manufacturing processes  including  seat structure welding, foam molding, trim cover, and final seat assembly .
Ensure  JIT / JIS supply to OEM customers  while maintaining production schedules and delivery commitments.
Drive  operational excellence, productivity improvement, and cost optimization  initiatives.
Implement  Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement practices  across the plant.
Ensure adherence to  quality standards, process control, and customer requirements .
Monitor and improve  OEE, line efficiency, takt time, and capacity utilization .
Lead cross-functional coordination between  production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams .
Manage large teams and develop  strong leadership pipeline and workforce engagement .
Ensure compliance with  safety, statutory, and company policies .

Required Skills & Expertise
Strong experience in  automotive seating systems manufacturing .
Expertise in  seat assembly, foam, trim line operations, and seat structure manufacturing .
Knowledge of  JIT / JIS manufacturing environment and OEM supply chain requirements .
Experience in  Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and operational excellence programs .
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Qualification
B.E /

B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering  (MBA preferred).
20+ years of experience  in automotive manufacturing with significant exposure to  seating systems
