Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and implement annual and quarterly strategic sales plans tailored for the North zone, in alignment with Alankaram’s objectives.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and lead a zonal sales team comprising Area or Regional Managers. Set targets, conduct performance reviews, and foster a high-performance culture.
Performance Monitoring:
Track sales performance rigorously. Analyze metrics, identify growth opportunities, and course-correct to ensure targets are met.
Market & Competitor Insights:
Stay updated on regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviors to refine strategies.
Relationship Building:
Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, architects, designers, and channel partners in the North.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with the product, marketing, and operations teams to align on product launches, campaigns, and supply logistics.
Reporting & Budgeting:
Prepare regular sales forecasts, MIS reports, and presentations for senior leadership. Manage zonal budgeting and ensure cost optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

• 8–12 years of experience in sales, including at least 3 years in zonal/regional leadership roles .

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a similar domain.

• Strong familiarity with the North Indian market, especially in retail or lifestyle sectors.
