Senior SEO Manager

Experience Required

5+ years of hands-on experience in SEO  , with strong expertise in team management and
organic growth strategies.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced   Senior SEO Manager   to lead and manage our core SEO
operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving organic traffic
growth across multiple websites, managing SEO teams, and working within an Agile
environment. This role requires strong technical SEO knowledge, leadership skills, and the
ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead and manage the   core SEO team  , including SEO executives, analysts, and
content writers.

● Plan, execute, and monitor   SEO strategies   for multiple websites simultaneously.

● Grow   organic traffic from zero to at least 50,000 monthly impressions   across
one or more websites.

● Handle   10+ SEO projects at a time  , ensuring timely delivery and quality output.

● Coordinate tasks and workflows using   Agile methodology   and tools such as   Zoho

Tasks, Jira, and Teamwork  .

● Work closely with content writers to plan, optimise, and review SEO-friendly content.

● Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, CTR, and overall site
performance.

● Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend improvements.

● Oversee and execute   ethical link-building strategies   (white-hat only).

● Stay updated with   SEO trends  , algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

● Collaborate with developers and designers for SEO-related technical changes.

● Communicate clearly with internal teams and stakeholders regarding SEO
performance and plans.  Required Skills & Expertise

SEO & Technical Skills

● Strong understanding of   On-page, Off-page, and Technical SEO  .

● Practical experience in   link building  , including outreach, digital PR, citations, and
niche edits.

● Good working knowledge of   HTML and CSS   (basic level).

● Experience with   multiple websites   across different niches.

● Ability to analyse data and make SEO decisions based on performance insights.

Tools & Methodologies

● Experience working in an   Agile environment  .

● Hands-on experience with   Zoho Task Management, Jira, and Teamwork  .

● Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics,
Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.

Management & Communication

● Proven experience managing and mentoring an SEO team.

● Strong   communication skills   (written and verbal).

● Ability to guide and review the work of   content writers  .

● Excellent   time management   and task prioritisation skills.

● Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience handling   UK-based websites   or international SEO projects.

● Understanding of   SEO trends   and how they support SEO performance.

● Experience reporting SEO performance to senior stakeholders.
