Key Responsibilities
Implement standardization and best practices across Service Now ITSM, GRC, and CSM modules.
Design and develop custom applications and features using App Engine and Flow Designer.
Create workflows, reports, dashboards, and Work spaces.
Develop inbound email actions and integrations using Service Now APIs, scripted web services, and REST interfaces.
Configure and script Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, SLAs, Notifications, and ACLs.
Perform data imports using Scheduled Jobs, Flows, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
Follow coding standards and ensure scalability, performance, and system health.
Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts as required.
Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Drive timely resolution of issues and requests.
Produce clear technical documentation, process guides, and user manuals.
Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver optimized solutions.
Lead and support Service Now instance upgrades.
Technical & Professional Experience
5+ years of Service Now industry and project experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience building custom applications using App Engine and Flow Designer.
Proven experience developing custom tables, catalog items, workflows, scripts, portal widgets, ACLs, and business rules.
Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Hands-on experience with Service Now instance upgrades.
Background working in ITSM, ITIL, Agile, and Dev Ops environments.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and inbound email processing.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience working with globally distributed teams.
Collaborative, solution-driven, and proactive mindset.
Preferred Certifications
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation
