Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Solar O&M Junior Engineer cum Helper who will support technical operations, assist in troubleshooting, and perform routine solar panel cleaning and maintenance activities. This role suits a fresher or semi-skilled candidate who wants to grow in the solar industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operation & Maintenance
Assist senior engineers in routine inspection of solar plants.
Monitor plant performance and identify basic system issues.
Support in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Record daily plant generation and system health parameters.
2. Technical Support
Provide onsite support during breakdowns under supervision.
Help diagnose wiring faults, inverter issues, and AC/DC side problems.
Coordinate with the technical team for spare parts and escalation.
3. Solar Panel Cleaning
Perform regular solar module cleaning using approved methods.
Ensure safety protocols are followed while working at heights and wet surfaces.
Maintain cleanliness logs and report issues like hotspots, cracks, or shading.
4. Site Management
Keep tools, equipment, and cleaning machinery in good condition.
Maintain discipline and follow Pro-Energy's safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
Support site audits, documentation, and client visits.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
12th pass / ITI (Electrical, Fitter, Wireman) / Diploma (Electrical or related).
Basic understanding of electrical systems and solar plant components.
Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor environments.
Preferred
Prior experience in solar O&M or panel cleaning (not mandatory).
Ability to learn quickly and work under supervision.
