Education​/Career Counselor

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Provide one-on-one education and career counselling to students and young professionals based on their academic background, interests, and career goals
Offer country-specific guidance for studying abroad (e.g., USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.), including eligibility criteria, intake cycles, and career outcomes
Guide students on course selection, universities/colleges, entrance exams, and country-wise requirements
Explain and assist with application processes for international institutions
Support students with study abroad documentation, including:
Academic transcripts and certificates
Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Letters of Recommendation (LOR) guidance
Resume/CV preparation
Passport and visa-related documentation checklist
Financial documents (bank statements, affidavits, loan letters, sponsorship documents)
Provide country-specific visa guidance, interview preparation, and compliance requirements (as per regulations)
Conduct counselling sessions via calls, video meetings, or in-person interactions
Educate students and parents about the cost of education, scholarships, part-time work options, and post-study work visas by country
Maintain accurate student records, application status, and documentation tracking
Follow up with students throughout the counselling, application, and admission process
Coordinate with internal admissions, visa, and operations teams to ensure smooth processing
Stay updated on global education trends, immigration policies, and university admission criteria
Ensure ethical counselling practices and provide unbiased, student-centric guidance
