Job Description:

As an Overseas Education Counselor at Elevate Routes, you will be essential in assisting students with their journey to study overseas. Your main duties will encompass the following:

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End overseas education counseling, providing professional and high quality counseling services that surpasses the expectations of both students and their parents.
Counsel students in selecting the appropriate programs and universities based on their profile in overseas destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and European destinations, etc.
Assist students at every step of their journey in discovering their dream universities and programs.
Offer expert assistance in university and program selection, scholarship opportunities, research assistantships (RA), teaching assistantships (TA), profile building, and financing options.
Offer assistance for Statement of Purpose (SOP) analysis and improvements, Letter of Recommendation (LOR) assistance, CV editing, and financial documentation support.
Evaluate students' interests, strengths, and skills to provide tailored support.
Assist students in filling out application forms for various universities.
Implement effective follow-up systems with students and universities abroad.
Aim to establish higher benchmarks for student experiences and services.
Track students' progress throughout the application cycle and provide regular updates to management.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status in the CRM software.
Be available to address students' concerns on a daily basis and coordinate with universities and internal teams to ensure a smooth application process.
Navigate students through the visa application processes for key destinations.
Assist clients in gathering the necessary documentation for their application submissions.
Assist clients in visa applications and prepare them for visa interviews.
Oversee internal support teams to ensure an outstanding student experience and meet all the deadlines.

Required

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors/Masters in Counseling or Psychology is an advantage.
1-2 years of experience as an education counselor, preferably in the study abroad industry, and also knowledge of international education systems and admission processes.
Proficiency in counseling and admission processes for destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and European destinations, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional listening skills to understand and address students' needs effectively.
Experience in overseas education counseling is preferred.
A willingness to learn, adapt, and maintain a humble attitude.
