Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Micromitti is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the organization's financial health. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with accounting software, and a solid understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting
Maintain day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Manage vendor payments, invoices, and expense tracking.
Handle customer billing, follow-ups, and outstanding collections.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all transactions.
Taxation & Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings as per regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Budgeting & Analysis

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
Monitor cash flows and prepare cash-flow statements when required.
Systems & Software
Work with accounting/ERP software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, Quick Books—modify as applicable).
Maintain financial databases and support process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
Proficiency in Tally or similar accounting tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
