Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at PT Syaqua Indonesia in Lhoong Aceh. This full‑time role is responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement appropriate solutions
• Install, test and commission new electrical equipment and components
• Liaise with management and stakeholders to ensure maintenance activities are carried out effectively
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Provide technical guidance and support to other maintenance personnel as needed

• Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector or aquaculture industry/hatchery
• Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and manuals
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
