About the challengeWe are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our team in Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, and surrounding areas. This role will serve as the face of Lamudi in multiple cities for top and local clients, including real estate agencies and property agents.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for top and local property agencies/agents in Jakarta/West Java/Central Java, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong relationships.
- Identify and research potential clients, prepare quality sales proposals, presentations, and pitch.
- Identify clients’ needs and exercise the right solutions to help property clients get more reach.
- Maintain deep knowledge of traffic and marketing solution products, services, and market trends, especially within the property industry.
- Implement strategies to expand our market presence and maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Build connections with property offices or related clients on a daily basis.
- Fresh graduate or one year of work experience, with a degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Good command of the English language.
- Experience in direct selling, relationship management, or customer engagement.
- Entrepreneurial experience and a proven track record in meeting targets and deadlines.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment, able to work under pressure and meet monthly targets.
- Valid vehicle for personal use (motorcycle/car).
- Self‑starter: proactive in seeking improvement areas and opportunities to grow.
- Problem solver: able to identify gaps, propose solutions, and execute.
- Commercial mind: loves providing customer service while looking for upsell opportunities.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills: knows the sales game by heart, loves to play it every day, understands what makes a customer tick and can close deals that satisfy all parties.
- Client‑success mindset: demonstrates outstanding account management skills and understanding of clients’ needs.
- Good team player: willing to travel and be placed around Indonesia.
The position reports to the BD Manager. During the interview process, you will meet the manager, a few business stakeholders, and the management team.
