We are assisting one of our clients, a renowned Japanese retail company and they are currently looking for Chinese Food Merchandising Supervisor (Mandarin Speaking)

Responsibilities
:

• Assist merchandising's daily operational for Chinese Food section (Halal and Non Halal)
• Controlling and maintaining promotion product (Price change, Sales report and update to marketing department)
• Maintaining Grocery database for new item, price update, and new suppliers.
• Manage and monitor inventory level and aging items stock..
• Keep abreast of food safety regulations and ensure all products meet required standards.
• Provide data weekly report (Sales and top 10 items from each division)
• Do administrative things such as recap data document, circulate approval, follow up agreement, upload PO.

Requirement
:

• Bachelor Degree from any major.
• Min. of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the food sector.
• Min. of 2 years experience with supplier import Chinese food products.
• Have Merchandising with Chinese product knowledge and cuisine (seasonings and ingredients)
• Ability to manage inventory, analyze sales data, pricing management and product development.
• Strong communication and negotiation skill.
• Able to speak English and Mandarin is must.
• Passion for Chinese food and culture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
