CNC Programmer

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC Programmer (Preferably experienced in operating CNC machines with Y-Axis capability (Mill-Turn)).

Able to Operate CNC machines:

Strong proficiency in CNC programming (G-Code & M-Code) for milling and turning operations.

Experienced in using CAD/CAM software (Autocad / Solidworks / Mastercam).

Excellent ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and dimensional tolerances.

Solid knowledge of machine setup, tooling selection, cutting parameters, and process optimization.

Strong problem-solving skills with high awareness of quality and safety standards.

Able to work independently or in a team, meet production targets, and mentor junior staff.

Demonstrates a good attitude, proactive mindset, and results-driven work ethic.

• Develop zero-error CNC programs using CAM software for Turning, Mill-Turn (Y-Axis), and High-Speed Milling processes.
• Define optimal cutting tools, feeds & speeds, and machining strategies to minimize cycle time for hard and standard materials.
• Prepare detailed setup sheets for operators and resolve technical or dimensional issues at the machine.
• Ensure machining output meets GD&T requirements and high-precision standards (Makino/Mazak level).
• Optimize machining processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot CNC program and machining issues to reduce defects and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and 5S practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Facility (Maintenance) teams to support smooth operations and machine repairs when required.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to CNC programmers and operators.
