R&D Drafter

The Role

We are seeking a talented R&D Drafter Staff to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for providing technical drafting support to our Research and Development department. As a skilled drafter, you will play a crucial part in bringing our innovative product designs to life, contributing to the overall success of the company.

• Produce high-quality technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
• Draw parts to product assembly in 2-D and 3-D, and determine and arrange Bill of Material (BOM).
• Control product development, coordinate with team, starting from product design, prototyping, mould making stages, trial, mass production up to monitoring problems.
• Make various product development documents, specifications, Work instructions for Production and others.
• Provide technical support and advice to manufacturing and production teams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest drafting techniques and technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and procedures.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field.
• Working experience minimal 2 years in similar function or position, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in CAD software (Solidworks).
• Proficient in product development stages and Ms Office literate.
• Having knowledge in stages of mould making (press) and assembly manufacture production process.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical specifications, and drafting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive problem‑solving skills and a desire to continuously improve processes.
