Supply Demand Planner Assistant Manager

PT FOOM LAB GLOBAL is looking for an experienced, analytical, and execution-driven Assistant Manager Demand & Supply Planning to join our growing supply chain team.

This role plays a strategic role in managing end-to-end demand and supply planning within a highly dynamic FMCG environment with a large SKU base, frequent new product launches, and import-driven supply chains. The position is expected to act as a key decision-support partner to management in minimizing overstock, dead stock, forecast deviation, and warehouse capacity risks.

• Develop and manage SKU-level demand forecasting for finished goods, including fast-moving, seasonal, and new launch products.
• Translate demand forecasts into supply and import planning (sea freight vs air freight) by considering lead time, MOQ, cost, and risk trade-offs.
• Perform scenario planning (base / worst / aggressive) to support management decision-making and risk mitigation.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting methodology, assumptions, and planning logic.
• Control inventory levels to minimize overstock, dead stock, and stockout risks, while optimizing cash flow and warehouse capacity utilization.
• Analyze SKU lifecycle performance and provide data-driven recommendations for reorder, phase‑out, or stop procurement decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to align demand, supply, and execution plans.
• Proactively challenge sales projections that are not supported by data and align stakeholders on realistic and achievable supply plans.
• Act as the main point of contact for all demand and supply‑related topics, issues, and escalations.
• Lead and supervise Supply Demand Executive(s), ensuring data accuracy, planning discipline, and strong execution.
• Prepare and present regular reports on demand forecast, inventory health, import plans, and key supply chain KPIs.
• Provide clear analytical insights and recommendations to management as a basis for strategic and operational decision‑making.

• Strong background in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, PPIC, or Inventory Planning within FMCG or consumer goods industries.
• Proven experience handling high SKU volume with diverse demand characteristics (fast-moving, seasonal, and new product launches).
• Solid understanding of import-based supply chains, including long lead times, MOQ management, and freight cost vs service trade‑offs.
• Highly capable in data analysis and scenario analysis to support demand and supply decision-making.
• Familiar with ERP / MRP systems (Odoo experience is a plus).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Experience working cross-functionally and confidently managing stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, demand & supply planning, or related roles; supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
• Hands‑on, independent, self-driven, and possesses a strong ownership, accountability, and business‑oriented mindset.
