Senior Database Administrator

• Manage MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL and other non-relational database administrations through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Manage cloud-based database servers and processes, including regular maintenance and monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Support product development teams for database designs and implementations, including a review of system architecture, contributing to improving future architecture aiming for stability, cost-efficiency, and high levels of performance.

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with production of MySQL and Postgre
  
  SQL database operations.
• Familiar with performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring, troubleshooting, and database performance monitoring tools.
• Familiar with cloud technology (e.g. AWS‑RDS /GCP‑Cloud
  
  SQL).
• Familiar with scripting languages (at least one of Shell or Python).
• Familiar with Linux OS and good system troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in critical situations under pressure as well as in day-to-day operations.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
