Jr. IT Assurance Consultant (Technology Risk)

• Assist in performing assigned sections of technology risk assessments and control testing activities.
• Follow checklists and templates to identify common IT and cybersecurity risks.
• Support the documentation of control effectiveness and risk findings.
• Prepare initial drafts of work papers, evidence logs, and client reports for review by mid or senior‑level consultants.
• Participate in client meetings and evidence‑gathering activities under supervision.
• Maintain organized records of project work and ensure version control of documentation.
• Has the authority to approve standard accounting journal entries and adjustments within the assigned business unit.
• Responsible for approving internal reconciliations and documentation for audit readiness.
• May recommend process improvements or internal control enhancements to management.
• Authorized to communicate with external tax consultants regarding routine compliance matters.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in IT risk, IT audit, or cybersecurity (internship experience is welcome).
• Basic understanding of IT risk management principles and control frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
• Awareness of IT system components (servers, networks, applications, cloud).
• Basic familiarity with risk assessment templates and documentation tools (e.g., Excel, Confluence).
• Willingness to learn and apply security control testing techniques.
• Detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and proactive in supporting project tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Able to work collaboratively within a team.
