NOBI is a leading crypto firm operating in multiple facets of the crypto sector—from exchanges to validators. The Principal Engineer will spearhead critical technical initiatives for a special project within NOBI, reporting directly to the CTO and working closely with the founders. This senior-level position is designed for an individual contributor (IC)—with no direct reports and minimal team management. You will collaborate in a small, flat team with other senior ICs to drive cutting-edge fintech and crypto solutions.

• Develop and Implement Engineering Solutions
  :
  Drive end-to-end technical implementations, from concept to completion.
• Serve as a Top-Level Technical Expert
  :
  Make high-impact decisions that align with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with Management
  :
  Work closely with the CTO and other C-level leaders to translate high-level goals into actionable technical roadmaps.
• Lead Technical Requirements
  :
  Oversee project milestones and ensure successful delivery of critical features.
• Manage Architecture and Development
  :
  Design, build, and optimize system architectures, partnering with fellow senior ICs.
• Analyze Challenges and Develop Solutions
  :
  Identify technical issues, propose resolutions, and maintain high standards for system reliability.
• Research and Recommend New Technologies
  :
  Stay current on crypto, blockchain, and fintech trends for continuous innovation.

• Finance and Investment
  :
  Must be comfortable working with financial data, metrics, and general investment concepts.
• Experience
  : 4+ years in a Software Engineer or similar senior role
• 2+ years in fintech, crypto, or blockchain projects
• Technical Skills
  :
  Strong problem-solving abilities with practical knowledge of modern engineering practices.
• Teamwork and Communication
  :
  Comfortable operating as an individual contributor in a small, flat team structure.
• Location
  :
  Must be based in or near Jabodetabek and able to commute to our office as needed.

• Education
  :
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field (helpful but not required).
• Competitive Edge
  :
  Participation in competitive programming, Math Olympiads, or algo-trading competitions is a big plus.
• Tech Alignment
  :
  Familiarity with modern tech stack like Golang, Type Script, RPC, SQL, and popular blockchains (Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin) is a plus.
