Job Responsibilities
- Monitor project or operational budgets and actual costs to identify variances and trends.
- Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and financial dashboards.
- Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and finance to ensure accurate cost tracking and control.
- Analyze and report on profitability, cost trends, and performance against budgets.
- Assist in the development of cost estimating and budgeting tools.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of costs in ERP or accounting systems.
- Maintain cost control procedures and recommend improvements.
- Review and validate supplier invoices, purchase orders, and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct risk and impact analysis on budget deviations.
- Support audits and internal reviews with relevant cost data and documentation.
