• Mechanical Platform Design:
  Develop structural designs for automation equipment with defined performance goals while balancing performance, durability and cost within manufacturing constraints.
• System-Level Integration:
  Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and embedded teams to ensure cohesive system behavior.
• Prototyping & Validation:
  Translate ideas into working physical prototypes and incorporate test feedback into iterative design improvements.
• Technical Documentation:
  Maintain clean CAD models, drawings, and bills of materials, document design rationales, tests, and design iteration history.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design for moving systems, automation equipment, or robotics.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., OnShape, Solid Works, Fusion 360, etc.).
• Strong fundamentals in structural mechanics, tolerancing, and material selection
• Hands-on approach to prototyping and assembly.
• Previous experience working with mobile or motion-based mechanical systems is preferred
