Diharpakan kandidat memiliki kemampuan memperbaiki mesin bor, komunikasi yang efektif, dan memahami Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3). Kesediaan untuk ditempatkan di lokasi proyek dan bekerja di luar jam kerja biasa juga diperlukan.
