The Site Superintendent is responsible for supervising and controlling construction activities to ensure works are performed to the highest standard and constructed as per drawings, specifications, procedures, cost and schedule. The role also involves safety compliance and coordination with multiple disciplines to achieve project objectives.

• Supervise and control the contractor to ensure that the works assigned to contractor are performed to the highest standard and the construction is built as per drawings, specifications, procedures, cost and schedule.
• Assist CSR to ensure compliance with COMPANY’s safety objectives throughout the life of the project.
• Supervise and control the project construction contractor to ascertain the plant is built as per GFC drawings, specifications and procedures, within the given cost and schedule.
• Ensure that in addition to quality and good engineering practice, planning and cost must be a permanent concern.
• Make acceptable arbitrage between different disciplines, ensuring that the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project.
• Maintain good relationships with contractors, being flexible when possible and strict when necessary to achieve project objectives.
• Liaise with other disciplines, safety, cost, planning and administration sections to improve team effectiveness.
• Keep the CSR informed of all events which may affect the successful completion of the project goals.
• Interfacing with engineering and other disciplines to ensure the project is completed in accordance with the schedule.

• Have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1 or equivalent) in related disciplines.
• Have a minimum typical fifteen (15) years of relevant experience with a minimum of seven (7) years in construction/fabrication/hook up/installation/Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of EPSCI projects as superintendent or related discipline.
• Possess significant responsibilities in multi-discipline projects.
• Recognized level of relevant expertise.
• Proactive with good leadership, communication and social skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
