HSE Engineer ( Saudi National

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the representative of the Safety Manager on construction sites.
• Support the lead site representative in setting up and managing an effective site safety program by identifying and addressing potential hazards to both personnel and property.
• Conduct regular inspections of the construction site to identify safety risks and implement corrective measures.
• Oversee on-site first aid personnel in providing care for work-related injuries or illnesses.
• Review job site incident records and generate periodic audit reports.
• Lead accident investigations and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Represent the company during safety inspections conducted by government regulators or insurance representatives.
• Evaluate and distribute safety inspection findings, along with recommended corrective actions.
• Perform additional safety-related duties as required for the position.
• Deliver thorough safety training to all personnel, covering site-specific hazards, safe operating procedures, and emergency responses.
• Foster a proactive safety culture by promoting awareness, sharing safety updates, and acknowledging safe work practices.
• Monitor health-related conditions on-site and implement programs to maintain workplace hygiene and address health concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date HSE records and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Health and Safety roles, preferably within the construction sector.
• Certification from a recognized health and safety organization (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
