Production Systems Manager

Our story began during a road trip in the 1990s, where our founders, Will and Andy, travelled across America collecting vintage items while living out of motels. They started purchasing vintage clothing in the USA and selling it wholesale, which eventually led to the creation of stores. From there, they began designing reworked vintage pieces, and thus, Motel was born.

Over 30 years and a team of 200+ people later, every piece of clothing we make is created with the same spirit of fun, freedom and adventure as the road trip that first defined the brand. We’re still ambitious and independent, but now we’re a global team - we work from an operational base in Worcester, a design studio in London and a creative studio in Bali.

Motel’s Net Suite Production Manager will oversee the day-to‑day management of
Net Suite for operations in Bali operations, including production and warehouse. This
role will ensure accurate system data is maintained for stock control and order
fulfilment, ensuring processes are efficient and fully optimising the company’s
Net Suite ERP system. This will be a critical role in ensuring the business can effectively
support growth, streamline processes and maintain accurate data for use across
Motel.

• Act as the Net Suite system lead for operations and production within the
  warehouse.

• Ensure all warehouse and production workflows are correctly configured in
  Net Suite.

• Ensure that all purchase orders for fabric are accurately added to the system.

• Ensure that fabric is accurately booked into the system, including at the correct
  quantity and price.

• Maintain accurate records of stock transfers in a timely manner.

• Oversee data accuracy for inventory, bill of materials (BOM’s) and works orders
  on the system.

• Ensure that work orders are updated on Net Suite in a timely manner in line with
  completion.

• Ensure that inventory is dispatched on the system in a timely manner, ensuring
  that it is in line with actual dates.

• Ensure that sales orders are accurately dispatched on the system.

• Maintain accuracy on the Net Suite system including the invoices raised in line
  with dispatch of goods.

• Liaising with the production manager to note any challenges that could impact
  the process and proactively help to implement revisions as and when required.

• KPI’s to be monitored weekly and presented on a monthly basis.

• Provide training, guidance and support to warehouse and production staff on
  Net Suite usage.

• This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to complete other tasks in
  line with business needs.

• Support Motel's sustainability initiatives by considering how our practices can improve, actively working in line with the sustainability journey of the business.

• Good oral and written communication skills, including stakeholders at all levels.

• A minimum of five years experience with the Net Suite system, with the capability to lead as a local superuser.

• Proven experience in a warehouse or a production environment, ideally in a
  retail, wholesale or e-commerce environment.

• Strong working knowledge of Net Suite ERP, particularly inventory, warehouse
  management (WMS) and production modules.

• Experience managing teams in a fast paced operational setting.

• The ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
