• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and employees.

Under direct supervision, the Tortilleria Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The position assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates tortilla displays, and prepares a variety of tortillas and masa for the department. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store; essential functions include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and meeting visual and auditory requirements.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
