Join our team as a Shortage Control Associate and contribute to a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Shortage Control Associate (SCA), your presence and actions directly impact the store’s security and the overall shopping experience.

• Maintain a professional appearance and presence at all times, wearing designated dress standards, radio and earpiece.
• Stand at the front of the store, remaining vigilant and aware of surroundings.
• Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting.
• Create a secure environment and reduce opportunities for theft.
• Monitor the entrance for the entire shift, reducing opportunities for theft, shoplifting and other dishonest activities.
• Engage customers and associates consistently with a confident, friendly and energetic greeting, maintaining eye contact and a smile.
• Identify and report theft incidents and/or suspicious persons to the Manager on Duty.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates in accordance with safety and security standards.

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection, loss prevention or operations (preferred).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and review, analyze and comprehend business trends.
• Strong communication skills and ability to exhibit a positive demeanor, strong posture and energetic greeting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with detail focus and disciplined decision making.
• Excellent communication with customers and co‑workers and leadership skills that support productive business relationships.

Base Pay: $16.9 per hour.
